On a Saturday afternoon in early April, after the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, the two of us drove to this highly rated restaurant, Sobadokoro KAMONOSHO, for lunch. I had made a reservation over the phone in the morning, so I arrived just before 1pm, but was shown to my room immediately. I will introduce the dishes and impressions of the restaurant here.
桜の花の満開を過ぎた4月はじめの土曜日の昼、私たちは評価が高いこのお店「そば処 鴨の庄」へ二人でランチに車で行きました。朝、電話にて予約していたので、到着したのは午後1時の少し前の時間でしたが、直ぐに部屋に案内されました。
ここにレストランのお料理と感想を紹介させていただきます。
Dishes we odered – 私たちが頼んだ料理

We entered the restaurant and looked at the menu. The menu contained following items:
(1) “Kamo Dangojiru Set” (Dipping Soba of Duck Dumpling soup Set): (*) A set of Dipping Cold Soba with Warm Soup made with duck stock and duck dumpling and green onion as ingredients, and a dish of “Dashimaki” (Rolled Omlet) and Tempra.
(2) “Onigiri Set” (Rice Ball Set): (*) A set of Morisoba, a dish of the Original rice balls by this restaurant, and a dish of “Dashimaki” (Rolled Omlet) and Tempra.
(3) “Tempra Set”: (*) A set of Morisoba and a dish of Tempra
(4) “Morisoba”: (*) Dipping Cold Soba with normal dipping sauce and condiments
It was possible to order “Soba Omori”, a large serving of soba.
In addition, it was written that “warm duck dumpling soup dipping soba” has started. Meanwhile, we both ordered the restaurant’s popular dish, the “Kamo Dangojiru Set” with a large serving of soba noodles.
お店に入ってメニューを見ました。メニューには、「鴨だんご汁セット」、「おにぎりセット」、「天ぷらセット」、「盛りそばセット」があり、そば大盛りが選択できた。また、「温かい鴨だんご汁つけそば」始めましたと書かれていた。
そんな中、私たちはこの店の人気である「鴨だんご汁セット」を蕎麦大盛りで注文した。

This restaurant looks like it has two rooms, each with one table.
このお店は、見た感じ、部屋が2つで、それぞれにテーブルが一つ配置されていた。
My impression – 感想
I would say “Great rural atmosphere”.
「田舎の雰囲気が最高」、というところでしょう。

Saturday lunch for two. In the morning, I made a reservation py phone and we drove around the Tamba area with this soba restaurant as our destination.
ランチで伺いました。（訪問日：2023年4月）
土曜日に二人でランチ。朝、電話で予約して、車でこのお蕎麦屋さんを目的地に、丹波エリアをドライブしました。

To Sobadokoro KAMONOSHO, I set the navigation and went by car.
I got off the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway at the Kasuga Interchange and drove north on Route 176. I turned right at the intersection called “Ichijima Shisho-mae” near JR Ichijima Station and proceeded east on Prefectural Route 59. I entered the prefectural road No. 541 in the direction of Kamiikeji. After about 500m to the southeast, the prefectural road turned diagonally to the right, but I entered the road in a straight direction. After about 300 or 400m, there was Kamiike Community Center on the left. There was a restaurant when I went up a narrow slope on the left immediately after passing it.
「そば処 鴨の庄」へは、ナビをセットして車で行きました。
鶴若狭自動車道を春日インターで降り、国道176号線を北へ車を走らせた。JR市島駅近くの「市島支所前」という交差点で右折して県道59号を東へ進んだ。
神池寺の方向へ県道541号に入った。南東へ500mほど進んだところに、県道は斜め右に折れていたが、真直ぐ方向の道へ入った。300か400mほど進むと左に神池公民館があった。それを通過して直ぐの左側にある狭い坂を上っていくとレストランがあった。
