One day in mid-February, I went to the highly rated soba restaurant “Shirakawa Soba Kakurean”. When we arrived at noon, there was no one waiting outside and we were shown to a table straight away.
Here I would like to introduce the dishes and impressions of “Shirakawa Soba Kakurean”.
2月半ばのある日、評判の高いお蕎麦屋さん「白川そば隠庵」へ行きました。私が正午に到着すると、外で待っている人はおらず、直ぐにテーブルに案内されました。
ここに「白川そば隠庵」のお料理と感想を紹介させていただきます。
Dishes I odered – 私が頼んだ料理

The menu included zaru soba, tenzaru soba, makanai soba, oroshi soba, hiyashitororo soba, zakkoku mugitoro rice (multigrain and barley rice with grated yam), and “Otonano Oyatsu” (Kakurean’s sake, dashimaki, and zaru soba).
Hot soba included tempura soba, shrimp tempura soba, yamakake soba, gobou (burdock) tempura soba, and Shirakawa radish soba.
In addition, the a la carte menu included assorted tempura, soba gaki, soba zenzai, dashimaki, and hiyakko.
I ordered zaru soba, and my partner ordered tenzaru soba.
メニューには、ざる蕎麦、天ざる蕎麦、賄い蕎麦、おろし蕎麦、冷やしとろろ蕎麦、雑穀麦とろろごはん、おとなのおやつ（隠庵の酒、だし巻き、ざる蕎麦）があった。
温蕎麦は、天麩羅蕎麦、えび天蕎麦、やまかけ蕎麦、ごぼ天蕎麦、白川大根蕎麦があった。
また、単品メニューは、天麩羅盛合わせ、そばがき、そばぜんざい、だし巻き、冷やっこがあった。
私は、ざる蕎麦を注文し、相方は天ざる蕎麦を注文した。

Access – アクセス
To get to Shirakawa Soba Kakurean, I set up the navigation and drove to.
It was about 7 minute by car from Kurokawa Onsen. At the intersection where the Shirakawa Iriguchi bus stop is located, there is a sign board for Shirakawa Onsenkyo, so follow it and turn towards that road. The restaurant is on the other side of the stream along the road on the left, so cross the bridge over the stream.
「白川そば隠庵」へは、ナビをセットして車で行きました。
黒川温泉から車で7分ほどでした。白川入口のバス停のある交差点で、白川温泉郷の案内板があるので、それに従ってその道へ曲がります。レストランは、左側道沿いの小川の向こう側にありますので、小川にかかる橋を渡ります。
